When is your
Saturn return?

Your Saturn returns and your next Jupiter return, from your date of birth.

Your dates appear here.

What a Saturn return is

Saturn takes about twenty nine and a half years to travel once around the zodiac. Your Saturn return is the stretch of months when it comes back to the place it held when you were born: first around 29, again around 58, and for some a third time near 88.

Astrology reads it as a coming of age. It is a time to take stock of the life you have built so far, to let go of what was never really yours, and to commit to what is.

Why it lasts more than a year

Seen from Earth, Saturn seems to stop and turn back for a few months every year. So it often crosses its place in your chart three times, over a year or more. The calculator gives the years each return spans. Your Blueprint dates every crossing to the month.

Your Jupiter return

Jupiter goes around the zodiac in just under twelve years, so it returns at about 12, 24, 36, 47, 59, 71 and 83. Astrology reads these years as openings: a time of growth, generosity and new beginnings.

How it is worked out

From the same NASA JPL planetary positions your Blueprint is drawn from. A date alone leaves out the hour you were born, so the years and your age are given. Saturn and Jupiter move too slowly for the hour to change them.
